Nothing will change for 2 years at least. Next dem presidential contender will likely try to ignore the issue / walk the line (again). So maybe 6 summers until anything happens to stop them.

Nothing will change at all. Israel will do whatever it damn well pleases, a few governments will clutch their pearls and make tut-tutting noises, people who protest against it will be classed as terror groups in the UK.
Witkoff and Kushner already have a "master plan" for Gaza. Witkoff mentioned the term in a 60 minutes interview to the dismay of Kushner, who stared intensely at Witkoff and stopped him.
The plan is of course to give beachfront real estate to the extended Trump clan.
A sternly worded letter is not going to stop it. Sell US treasury bonds instead.
