(This was meant to be a Show HN, but my account is too new. Feedback welcome!) A colleague of mine built QR Lume after running into a recurring problem in security work: there wasn’t a safe, privacy‑respecting way to inspect QR codes on iOS without triggering a browser or external request.

Most QR apps auto-open links or include analytics/tracking SDKs, which isn’t ideal for security or privacy use cases. QR Lume runs fully inside Apple’s sandbox, with zero telemetry and no third‑party SDKs.
